Carbomer is an acidic powder that is mixed with and refilled with water/alcohol to form high-quality, acidic solutions.

The highest viscosity after administration of carbomer, the test of solutions in the range of pH 6-7.5. For a typical rheology modifier, the appropriate effect on the consistency, which is thickened with the preparation of the pH frequency. Suitable for cosmetic emulsions and gels.

Application:

  • preparation and stabilization of creams and lotions
  • emulsion stabilizer, viscosity regulator
  • cosmetics for the care of hair, skin, nails and make-up

Composition: Carbomer-  quality parameters in accordance with the Européenne Pharmacopeia

  • Viscosity at 25oC: 54,000 mPa.s
  • pH (0.5% solution) 3.10

Recommended concentration: 0.05 - 1.00%

Solubility: soluble in water and alcohol, e.g. ethanol, isopropanol
